Env mapping, similar to waterblocks

Greetz.

I've been trying to get env mapping to work by looking at the waterblock code, but the coord calculations are in different places, and Im having troubles tracking what's doing what with the coords. I've tried doing a simple spherical map gen, and it would look fine for an indoor object that you just want to look shiny, but I would like to have a non-warped reflection of the sky.
