I am new to these forums and I was looking for someone with experience in programming games for the iPhone? I have been looking for someone that could help out with my project basically how much would you charge for a 2D/3D platformer type game? It will consist of 4 worlds 10-15 levels per world. I am estimating maybe 135 man hours of work but I am not a programmer so I don't know how much time it would really take. I have the artwork available but will not disclose any information about it till we agree on a NDA. My email is darkmage733 at hotmail dot com so we could discuss further if you would be interested. The programmer will get compensation and royalties if we agree on the project.
Thank You
Pablo

Hello, Ted Southard would you be interested in working with a few talented people that are trying to make an iPhone game? I have a coordinator, artist, and I am looking for a programmer/animator right now. Where working on a 2D side scrolling plat former game. We are going to try and implement some 3D aspects to it but we are still working on that. We definitely need someone with the experience in this game engine and if possible we hope you have the licensed version as well. You can contact me at darkmage733 (at) hotmail dot com if you want to talk more.

Devils, if you haven't found anyone yet, feel free to email me at dave.calabrese (@) cerulean-games.com. We're a team of professional game developers with 10 years experience along with iPhone and iPad experience. We have been working a great deal with both TGB and T3D, and even have made a large number of custom enhancements to TGB that I believe could be of use for your title. Lemme know if you can't find anyone and I'm sure we can do something for ya.

@DreamSparks, how in the world are you getting away with that name? You know if you make it big Microsoft is going to come after you. Check out http://www.dreamspark.com/

I appreciate the heads up but as you can see my company name is DreamSparks LLC not DreamSpark. Also I have taken all the legal action to acquiring this business name and according to the state where I am located in there are no LLC's with this name therefore Microsoft would not be suing me not only will they lose but they will also lose me as a xbox live costumer. Lol.

Here is the trademark description for DreamSpark:
Just adding an "s" and an "LLC" to the end could come back at you later on.
I'm not trying to slam you or anything. Personally I think it's a badass name for a company, but it's just really close to what Microsoft owns and they are way to rich to go head-to-head with.

@Devils, you should do a little more research on this before you get too attached to the name. There may not be a DreamSparks LLC in your state, but it's obvious that Microsoft has an investment in that name when it comes to computer programming and an online presence. Take a look at McDonalds. You can't open any store starting with an "Mc" or publish any software with an "Mc" as the prefix of the name. Here is the trademark description for DreamSpark:
Quote:The DREAMSPARK trademark is filed in the category of Computer & Software Services & Scientific Services . The description provided to the USPTO for DREAMSPARK is Providing online information concerning the design, development and implementation of software; providing a website that gives students the ability to download computer software in the fields of software, game and website development tools;and providing a website for students to obtain technical support information concerning computer software, computer systems, website and game application development, deployment and management.
Just adding an "s" and an "LLC" to the end could come back at you later on.
