Can I install 3.1.5 Beta 2 alongside my existing installation of 3.1.4?

After installing 3.1.5 will I still be able to choose to create a new "TX Simple 2D Pro" project under 3.1.4 as well as 3.1.5, or will 3.1.5 essentially overwrite 3.1.4?

You can, but I don't advise it. While it will install to a separate directory the two versions still share the same AppData and registry entries. Sometimes older versions of these can cause problems.

There is really no reason to use the 3.1.4 at all after you have the 3.1.5 beta, the beta is head and shoulders above 3.1.4. I didn't see much of anything in 3.1.4 2D that wasn't also a bug in 3.1.4
