WheeledVehicle Datablock Switching

Hello everyone,
For the past few days I've been messing with Vehicles in Torque, I must say it's quite impressive on how easily I can customize them. I'm almost to the point to start developing a game around T3D's vehicles, I just have 1 problem I cannot seem to solve on my own.
The problem is that when I switch the datablock of the wheeledvehicle I get a "bounce" when I add the wheels back to the car, along with that the vehicle also loses all speed. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Is there a way to set the wheel speed when adding a wheel to the vehicle?
The way I'm partially solving this currently is I've just cranked the engineTorque value to an insane amount, but that doesn't remove the bounce.
Thank you,
Ryan
