Exporting from 3ds or Max to TGE

I have gotten on 3d object to insert, but the others give me errors on top of errors. Yes I have goggled and looked a tutorials, but have of them are gibberish, but do work. However when I finally get the model into TGE the model is incomplete as all the bones do not import and there is no skin. As well I suppose next after I get them to import is to get them to be solid as the only structure I imported, I can walk straight through. This is my first time trying to import into TGE and i can say that it is an experienced well learned.

First downloaded the DTS into max.
Thought it would be simple and just click export, nope need bounds box.
Create bounds box something about assertion failed on skin object, okay I change my polys to a mesh.
No Details to Export, I did something for one model like went into the hierarchy and created a group,
Bounds box cannot have children, box1 contains skin cannot be linked, properly one more error and than it export

However that the only one, and it was not perfect no skin and only like two bones exported. Can I get a user friendly way to fix No Details to Export, merge the skin box with the image, or just export the skin (it will tell me nothing to export if i delete everything but the skin, or any way else you can think to get the rendered image into TGE. Thanks.

This site works, but I can't remember the steps i did to get it this far

however it is no where near a substantial export.

As well, I used this website that worked really great

As well to make things a little easier some models come from turbosquid so if you are familiar with how to go from turbosquid to 3ds to TGE that would be helpful as well.
