Bitmap .BMP Font or .PNG Font

I am looking to use a bitmap font in TGEA and would like to know of any resources that clearly state how to do it.
I appreciate any help you can give, as I have searched the forum and although the topic is touched upon there is no clear concise way to do it. At this point I don't want to theorize or psuedo code as I have been at it for a while, I would like a basic tutorial or at least a solid lead.

I am using TGEA ver. 1.8.2 Update 06/07/10
I have successfully imported the .ttf font and produced .png files, now I can't re-import the .png as a .uft file.
