[Bug: Beta 1.1 Shape Editor] Wrong animation duration for references Collada files in shape editor - RESOLVED

If I reference an animated Collada file using the shape editors sequence editor it always imports with the total number of frames of the currently open Collada file and not the total number of frames in the referenced Collada file.
This means if my open Collada file has a 600 frame animation and I reference another Collada file with a 90 frame animation the newly created sequence (that should be 90 frames) is 600 frames. The first 90 of which are the actual animation and the rest is just filler.
I'm assuming this isn't the intended behavior?
EDIT: Actually it looks like the editor is always importing animtions at 600 frames? How is this suppose to behave
EDIT: This appears to be a bug with Open Collada and enable "sample animation" so this isn't torque related and can be ignored

Also, here's a note from the artist in the lab who tested this one. The issue seems to be the max frames setting in Maya.

Thanks for the updating your post Greg. Also, here's a note from the artist in the lab who tested this one. The issue seems to be the max frames setting in Maya.
Quote:The reason why it lists 600 frames (or for me 450) on both models is because Maya's max amount of frames in the scene are being exported... so if you have it max 600, but you are only showing 1-70 on your timeline... it renders out to 600.
I just changed my max frames to 170 and now the shape editor shows max frames as 170.
Nothing wrong with the exporter or the program.
