Transfer?

Question about Transferring downloads... If I purchase a T3D Indie License and then download the engine on to my computer, then I purchase a new computer is there a way I could re-download that engine on the new computer. Files are not an issue. Thanks Guys

Thanks Caylo. Does this mean, I can download it to other computers as well?

Many more details may be gleamed from the End User License Agreement.

As long as only you, have access to the T3D source code, and any other computer Torque is installed on is under your control ( no public computers, or say a friend of yours who happen to be working on the project with you... That is a no no). Many more details may be gleamed from the End User License Agreement.

So if I'm in my studio working on the game with others working on the project, they can't install it?

Your artists should each have a license to the Binary version IF they are using any of the T3D editor tools(they still use your build to work with).
Is how I understand it.

I believe, unless the End User License Agreement has changed, each programmer who is using the source code to T3D Indie must have a Torque3D Indie License of there own. Your artists should each have a license to the Binary version IF they are using any of the T3D editor tools(they still use your build to work with).
Is how I understand it.

So every one of my Artists should also purchase the $100 Binary as well, if they are using Torque's tools if they're using a different app. they shouldn't?

@Edward: That's right. If they need built in editor features - for level editing, sketching, material creation, object fixes, terrain editing, etc.. they will need a Binary license each. Note that these licenses are licensed to individuals, and not the studio itself. If you'd rather have the studio be the license owner, get in touch with TorquePowered and they will give you all the details about how that would be possible.

Thanks Konrad... My "studio" probably doesn't have the budget for that if you get what I mean

I once had a 4 hour stop between flights with my lap top along, download Torque and spent the time working on A.I. scripting.
This freedom lead me to setting up a private VPN off a Ubuntu Linux Box what holds all of my project files. Now I have the freedom to reach all my project files at any time/place i find the need.
