DEXSOFT-GAMES: Robot Warrior 2. animated character

Dear Friends,
we published new pack: Robot Warrior 2. Model pack

Animated model with 14 animations (!), 7754 triangles, 1 LOD stage (1174 triangles), textures in tga, and png format.
DTS format is properly sized and with DSQ animation files for each animation.

Just one comment:

if in this model the LOD is like in the previous Robot Warrior; it will be better to edit it slightly. Indeed, the previous LOD is not very useful as the model has some missing part (hands...). The LOD is only useful when rendering from far and not from close-up.

It will be nice to have LOD able to render from close-up like that the model can be used also for low-end system.

No need for speculation. You can see our LOD stages at our website easily. And from my point of view it can be used on low end systems.

Thanks for your answer, i bought the robot 1 model you did but either it is an issue with the DTS, the LOD model has some holes which makes it not useable as a low-poly model. Here is a screenshot to depict it (look hand / arm / leg).

Just let me know if this is linked to the DTS format export; as I do not have a 3D modeling tool to look at the model.

As a sidenote, I own a lot of your pack and the quality is without exception very good. I'm just sometimes a very picky guy, like many French I think :-)

I checked the original model and yes, there are some gaps in the LOD stage. But when you switch on "double sided material" it looks way better as you can see here.
But at the same time it will render not as fast as a single sided material.
