Pictures of Indie Offices

To carry on the spirit of today's Dev Snapshot, we'd all like to see what your "offices" look like. Mine definitely fits in the category of "office" rather than office. There are actually two companies at work here... my own and my roommate's company (which simply does schoolwork). This is a snapshot of a near-climax in messiness. I'll probably whittle those piles down somewhat soon, but who knows.

Cool thread. Don't have any pics of my work environment, but I did a piece a while ago called "Game Pads" that is similar to what we're seeing here. Sent a disposable camera to the guys at Digital Eel and they sent back the pics. Have a number of other developers participating, just waiting for them to mail the cameras back so we can get them developed. Anyway, check out the Game Pads bit at this link.

and my playtest center:

Normally my bookshelf is stacked 4 deep in fantasy and scifi novels but since I am moving in the next few months I figured I'd leave them packed. As you can probably tell I made no attempt to straighten up first =)

Where do all these people get their Herman Miller Aeron Chair? I want one for my home but can't justify the price tag :(

If you have back problems, no price seems too high. The SelectComfort bed makes the Aeron chair seem cheap, but even that seems cheap compared to constant back pain.

I live in Florida too (Tampa) and it is pretty bad this time of year. If I had the option I'd live somewhere else during the summer months. As for a pic, I might post one when I get my new Dell, but right now it's just a war zone in my office/living room because of the 10 cats my wife has. :)
