Torque 3D Sketch Tool

Hi, I just bought the binary version of Torque 3D last week and I'm going through the online documentation trying to learn how to use everything; I'm very new to game development.
My question is: am I blind or does the Torque 3D Binary version not come with the "Sketch Tool"? The docs talk about it and show where the button should be to access it, but I don't seem to have that button and can find no mention of it.

Is this only available in the Pro version or some beta version I haven't downloaded yet?
What can I use in lieu of it for basic prototyping work, I think I saw mention of Google Sketchup?
Thanks for any advice or help you can provide!

In the last documentation push was targeting 1.1 so you may see features discussed in it that you don't have access to yet.
As for modeling programs to prototype some models, more or less if it can export to the Collada format then you can use it to create models for the engine.

Marcus is correct. The binary version is 1.0.1 and the sketch tool is a 1.1 feature. Currently only Pro users have access to Alphas and Betas and Binary users receive the final release builds. In the last documentation push was targeting 1.1 so you may see features discussed in it that you don't have access to yet.

You mean 3D modeling/animating programs? I believe blender is a freeware supported by T3D.
