Platformer starter kit?

I have TGB 1.74, what platformer kit can i get to help me make platformer games?

is this the right choice for me?

One more question, is there a download option? because right now all I have is a P.O. Box...

Pretty sure it's download only and it works fine on my Windows 7 machine.
