You can get the same content on the MSDN web site, but it is nice to have a good, fast, local copy that is integrated into Visual Studio's help system.

Ummm if you're an MSDN subscriber you hsould already have a good fast local copy on the oodles of CDs they send you.

This is an excellent resource for any developer. I'm an Universal MSDN subscriber and the amount of info that comes with MSDN (not to mention the software) is great. Articles, magazine snippets, MSJ stuff, lots of goodies.
