Retired math modeler and simulator programmer looking for an interesting project to help fill my spare time.
Up front...I am not a proficient C++ programmer, most of my work has been in proprietary languages and FORTRAN. But, if you need someone to generate the equations and pseudocode to implement your ideas in the smallest space, I'm your old man. I can work effectively with the game programmers to achieve the desired result.
Pay..not necessary..if the project is interesting.

Its possibly not going to push you very far, but I need help doing all sorts of curves for the interpolation of keyframe data, these will include hermite, bezier, nurbs curves etc. Also quaternion curve based interpolation I could use help with (basically instead of linear interpolation of the quaternion I want to do a bezier type interpolation).
Basically, anything math heavy I could genuinely do with some help on. I can code the sucker if you can explain the equations to me in pseudocode so I can understand it.
Hope thats interesting to you, because it is something that WILL be useful to the engine as a whole I think.

It's a long term project thats really not to far in development,but I'm geting some models built,and have a fairly clear idea as to what I want the game to be and how to do it......other than,still not sure what to do about a 3D engine
