A whole gaming community is starting up a project.
If you ever played Tribes 1 and were involved with the community then you would understand the reason why people are banding together to use and buy the V12 engine to remake as close of a copy to Tribes 1 as legally possible using the T2 engine.
We are making this as a freeware game. No one is getting paid to do this, but we feel that this is something that can be an evolutionary step in gaming.
