Evaluation Copy & the TGB Tutorial Project

Evening!
We've been looking at the evaluation copy of TGB and started doing the old 'work through the beginners tutorials' to gain an initial sense of how the engine works.
However, the tutorial "TGB - Mounting Tutorial" (file:///Applications/TorqueGameBuilder/documentation/documentation%20overview.html) calls for you to use the rain.eff and other particle effects found in the supplied Tutorial project. Problem is, under "Particle Effects" all but two of the objects actually contain anything (wormhole and gglogo) whilst the others are completely blank/empty.....
Is it us, or has this been done on purpose for evaluation?
