Binary-only

I have some questions about the Torque 3D product

1) I was looking at the licensing and i found the following:
"Allows Revenue Over $250k Annually"

This may sound a strange question for you, but maybe because i'm european i don't know that notation:
What does the "k" means (from the $250k)?
(I suppose it's not the same as $250)

2) "Allows for Externally Funded Projects"
Does this means that i can/cannot have publicity on my game(s)?
Does this means that i can/cannot sell my game(s)?

3) Are all prices with VAT included? If not, how much is VAT?

My thanks in advanced

    1) k = thousand
    $250K = 250.000 $

    Thanks for your answer Thomas.

I have just one more question relationed with this situation.

In Torque 2D and 3D what does the "Source Code Included" means? Is it that "Binary-only" doesn't bring any examples or that we cannot use any coding in "Binary-only"?

Source code refers to the C++ engine code. The Binary versions have the same examples, including TorqueScript files, as the Pro versions. The Pro versions allow access to the engine source code which allows you to make changes to the base engine.
