I changed development systems and downloaded WinCVS 1.2 and configured according to the GG docs on my new system. Unfortunately, since I already had it installed and configured and running on my other machine, my "HOME" folder where CVS stores my passwords is in a location that now no longer exists because I'm on a different machine. Consequently, CVS won't let me log in with a return code of "1" when I try. I think that's because it can't find my password file anymore. I can't seem to change that. Am I stuck or is there a way to reconfigure the CVS server to look for my password in a different location? Everything else is configured the same but when I try to login, it fails without even asking me for a password. Did I miss something in the docs that describes how to change this?

Help! I would like to download the latest Torque SDK files but I'm stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the inconvenience but I did not realize this would cause me a problem.

Oh, I'm so terribly sorry for bothering everyone. I just realized that the CVS Root had a colon character after the garagegames.com in the string that appears in the GG docs. The resolution of my screen is set high and my aging eyes missed it. Once I entered that, I was able to login. Please disregard my question and accept my apologies.

Of course, scrolling up the status window at the bottom of WinCVS told me I had an invalid CVSRoot which explained my login problem. DUH!
