Targeting android, with TX on the horizon possibly?

Hey I was thinking it would be great to see TorqueX target android. What brought this to mind is looking at the code for "Replica Island" on google code, and youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4Bk5rmIpic You can see his component object model at 19:19 is very similar to the TorqueX component object model. Also of course, I always try and use a component object model when working with my own code, since TX came out 3 years ago, and I learned of its power. It would be great to get official GG support for android products.. I love all the products, and the book is great. 3.1 looks awesome.

I would be interested in doing that, but its getting late in the semester, maybe for the summer.

I have a Google Ion, which is a MyTouch 3g developer version. Targeting the android would branch out torque in a huge way.

I would be very interested in developing Torque for Android, I think most phones will be moving that way simply because of the ease of the OS.I have a Google Ion, which is a MyTouch 3g developer version. Targeting the android would branch out torque in a huge way.

Well if this does start, I hope I can be at least be an intern for it. I wonder if they would do their own rendering engine again, or use open GL surface view.
