Robert De Niro -- My favorite Actor

Mister Robert De Niro has received the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award. This is the only "award show" I have watched in a very long time, which they showed on the USA Network.

This man is an artist. He inspires you. If you want a good film, as violent as they are, with as much swearing as they have, go rent a good Scorsese/De Niro film. Casino. Raging Bull. Taxi Driver. (The Special Edition of Taxi Driver will teach you how to properly storyboard your scenes, and think through your story until you know it like the back of your hand. Then you can improvise.)


The reason why I like Robert De Niro so much is because he's a thinker. He understands how to research. He's always working, so he's never out of touch with the world nor his creativity. He can play a methodical genius in gambling (Casino), a lonely, resentful creature who turns to change, then to vengeance (Taxi Driver), or that elitist prick who's... just an elitist prick (Meet the Parents). He can do anything.


And he inspires me to work, along with millions of others. So, who inspires you?
