[Fixed] Bummed out :(

by Mitchell Talmadge · in Torque 3D Professional · 03/27/2010 (10:08 am) · 6 replies

On Xmas I bought and downloaded the Binary version for $100, but after studying up and learning how it works, I went into it and put down some ground cover, only to find it doesn't have all the features of the original. So now I have a $100 program I hardly use :(

About the author

I have been scripting mods for a game called "Blockland" and I decided to take a shot at making my own game. I am currently working on my own game titled "Celestial Online".

@Mitchell

The binary version of T3D has the same features as the full Pro licenses.

What is it that you think your not getting?

@Mitchell
The current binary version is 1.0.1 and has all the features of Pro with the exception of the source code. If you were looking for features that are part of 1.1, like the sketch tool and the forest editor, then you will get those when 1.1 is released. 1.1 is currently in Beta and only Pro licensees have access to Alphas and Betas.

If you check the docs on this - support -> documentation -> T3D ... hey, here's the link - clicky!.

You need to set probability in the 1st layer to more than zero to get something to show.

Also "bumbed" has 2 "m"'s and no second "b". "bummed out".

Hey thanks I was worried that I got ripped off. Guess I should search more before I post.
