Sketchup problems

I'm using the binary version of Torque Game Engine 3D. I can use Sketchup 6.3 pro and everything works fine but I can not use Sketchup 7.x, the game blows-up. This is bad because the main reason for me to switch to Torque 3D from TGEA was the Collada support. Sketchup 7.0 free version no exports Collada, no need to buy the sketchup 7.x Pro, except that is aborts inside the game with:

I have noticed that a newer release by a full-package user seems to solve the problem. That doesn't help me who is trying to stay legal... Does Garage Games have a fix in the Beta's I keep hearing about but can't get because I didn't have the money for the full package. Can someone give me a version newer than Nov. 2009 (3.8 months ago...) I can't do much until this is fixed... Thanks for any help or wisdom...

I think the issue may be that I am using the binary version of T3D.
Are they going to update it soon... This problem may have been fixed,
a friend has the full version and says it works for him in one of the beta's...
I don'y know, but my 8 hours is fast running out on Sketchup 6.3 pro.,
I'd like to change to the free sketchup 7...
