Posts in wrong forums

Seems like we've been seeing a lot of posts lately in the wrong forum.
I'm wondering if it might help to have some text showing what forum you are posting to along with its description when you are on the "New Forum Thread..." page. Also a link to a pop-up list of all the forums and their descriptions might be handy too.

These are cool ideas, but the easiest thing is to take ten seconds to find an appropriate forum rather than posting everything in the General forum. Basically, if you have a specific question about the Torque, it is not too hard to find a forum that much more appropriate than General.-Jeff Tunnell GG

Hasn't changed a lot until now ... ;/
Seems to me that people are mostly posting in the General Discussion forums because it is the first to be displayed when you click the Unread Posts! ;)

So it moves the thread and adds a boilerplate text to that effect.
There even appear to be enough volunteers pointing out posts are in the wrong place to take on the task of moving them instead.
