What's your favourite type of tank?

#1 heh, I prefer the light tank, and I prefer to use it in Battle Mode.. nothing like taking down a few mediums and then doing some cartwheels to celebrate.

#2 I agree Joe.. I like sitting up on hills in my light tank over looking the battle.. then swoop in on the poor smoking sap who is trying to run for cover, then rinse and repeat... that is when I play battlemode.. most of the time I am playing that other style...

And most of the time I too am playing Scrum as opposed to Battlemode. It has far more tactical depth to it i.m.o. and gives a much larger adrenaline rush!

#5 I am a die-hard scrum player. never liked games where you PK usually gets overcompetitive nad then those stinky players just ruin the game.

I like them because it is like using vectored thruts becasue their traction is so poor. really fun to play in

#7 Light is the way to go, in scrum anyway. Thats all I play now that I've registered and I play online.

Took a while to get the hang of the combination of speed and lack of control

#9 You die too easy in light tanks, but I must admit that I find it infuriating when I am chasing for the scrum in a medium and the light tank guy keeps on pulling awayI almost always use light for scrum

#10 Well I think that the light is the way to go. I have used it tho score 10 points for my team in srcum and I have found ways to use it battlemode. Like Tankdork said one of its better points is to attack a fleeing medium or to score a few pot shots on a heavy when it is in the middle of a battle. I have taken out Hum when he was right in the middle of killing tom(bot) and giving tom(bot) another chance (I killed him when he started shooting at me, but now I have 2 killes to my name).

#12 I agree totally with LC50, Light tanks are fast and if you can handle them properly, you are the Scrum champion! As regards to battlemode, I rather prefer to use a heavy tank as you don't really need to "run" (except to get a health power-up!) in a battlemode.

I do not like medium tanks because they are not special in armor and are still very slow. So what's the point in using medium tanks??

#13 Only about 5 players can use a heavy well. Check out LC50's site to find em, but all the other morons you see in heavies are so easy to kill in a light tank. Mediums are a piece of cake, not oo strong, not too fast, just right...

#14 Well, I like the equilavent to the light: UFO for scrum.
As for battlemode, I like the heavy equilavent: My newly hacked BIG UFO.
It's a slow as a mule, but can sure pack a mean punch.
So in a battlemode game, something big is lumbering towards you, you better have good aim, or be able to hide cause im gonna kick ur ___!
