Normal smoothing interiors?

Is there a way to smooth out interior lighting? As in smoothing the normals, like the smooth modifier in max. I checked out the map2dif docs hoping for a command line param with no luck and I couldn't find a 'smoothing' like entity in the wc/quark config files.

Thanks...

Btw: if anyone is interested in a cool max2map conversion checkout gmax and tempest. Unfortunately tempest will not export the default max objects (must use brushes), but for anyone comfortable with the max look and feel it might be worth checking out. Again being forced to use brushes removes most of the need to use max, but it is a nice interface.

No normal smoothing for interiors. I have a tutorial at my website on making simple texture maps for Dif objects. If your good with your textures you can almost emulate smoothing.

Ahh... Afraid of that. I think I'll try to avoid round objects.

Thanks for the response...
