Does Torque X 2D work well with Windows 7?

Hi all

I've got XP on my current desktop and Vista on my laptop, and both seem to play nicely with Torque X 2D. I'm about the upgrade my desktop and will get Windows 7 as the OS. The requirements section of Torque X 2D on the Engines page only mentions XP and Vista so I'm unsure whether Windows 7 is supported or not...

Will everything play nicely with my new Windows 7 machine?

Many thanks
Matt

I think there is a thread on this somewhere - I know a few people on the forums are running W7, so I'm guessing it will work okay. I haven't upgraded to W7 yet myself though so can't personally confirm it.

I am using W7 Home Premium and everything works out fine. I have an Nvidia card, I have heard some people have problems with ATI. I also run it on my laptop which has intel video, no issues (outside of speed)

Thanks guys. Good to hear there are no issues with Windows 7.

I'm actually looking at getting one of the new ATI Radeon video cards though so I hope there are no issues with ATI cards. The Engine Requirements states that either a Nvidea or ATI is fine, as long as it supports DirectX 9.c and shader model 1.4.

Henry, do you have a source for the issues people have had with ATI cards?

I may be getting this mixed up with the TGB forums. Anyway I have had no probs with my nvidia card.
