I just paid for and downloaded the binary version of Torque 3D. When I try to run the demo programs, there is no text on any of the dialogs. The text shows up on the toolbox, but not inside the demo programs when I try to play them.
I'm running Windows Vista Professional, on my Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop. DirectX is installed, as well as PhysX.

Did that. Everything else works fine.

This could possibly be the font system failing to load fonts.
Are there errors in the console.log file relating to fonts? (look for some lines with GFont in them)
Also, I *think* the SDK is shipping with the uft files. Search the game folder for all .uft files and delete these. Then try again.

Funny thing though. I installed everything on my Windows Vista Home Premium desktop, and it all works fine.
