Great game! (my thoughts inside)

Well, I made sure to find time to play the demo of GarageGames latest offering, Tennis Critters by Nerd Riot Games. Boy was it worth my time!

The game itself is fairly simplistic in concept. The gameplay reminded my of Mario Tennis for gameboy color which is definitly a good thing. One gripe I found is that it is hard to serve without getting a fault, but I'm slowly learning how its done.

The graphics are awsome, the enviroments are cheery and the character animation is superb! One thing I liked about this game over Mario Tennis is that you could swing more rapidly.

Overall a great game! congrats to nerd riot games for putting together such a winner!

Use the other hit button (slice) for easier, but slower serves...

lol... I dunno why, this usually isn't the kind of game I get into but I found myself really enjoying this earlier today (I guess marble blast was the same way). I played it for a good hour and a half straight just against the computer. Great job though guys, it really plays well and the graphics have a good feel to em. Not the high-poly counts of other games, but the image you were going for is what you got, you hit the nail on the head. Like I said, I actually found it pretty darn fun too.

No... I havn't bought it yet, still have the demo, sorry :*(

I love it too, but would like more particle effects. . .on a side note. . . can some one please explain how I can serve with topspin without it faulting

After 2 days I can now server with Topspin.

You have to let the ball go down much more than with the slice serve.

I put the ball speed in slow mode and that is how I managed to get it going, now I can topspin in fast mode.
