Torque Constructor 1.0.6 update not working on Vista

I have windows vista on my PC, and i downloaded and installed Torque Constructor.
I used it a few times, and i know that it runs.
I then downloaded the 1.0.6 update files, extracted them to my desktop, then copied the files into the C:/Program Files/Torque/Constructor folder.
After doing this, torque constructor no longer works. When i click the shortcut or the program in the start menu nothing happens. In task manager the process is running, but the application is not.
Can anyone help me with this?
