I've seen the Torque2D page and i've seen the following:
"Build on a PC or Mac, and then deploy to Wii, Xbox 360, iPhone, and even web portals all from the same project"

and i would like to know more on the "deploy to even web portals" part. How does it work? what type of file is generated from Torque2D? Is it flash? is it java? is it something else?

my thanks in advanced

That will be in the next version of the engine. You compile the plugin and they will download it and install it like any other web plugin. It does not convert it to Java or Flash.

    Thanks for your reply!

    1) When will the next version be released?
    2) How much will it cost?
    3) Does that mean that we can build the game and sell it as being made with actionscript?

We are not ready to announce a release timeline and are still looking at pricing.

There is no Flash or ActionScript at all, so there is no reason you would ever advertise it that way.

You can deploy to your own. InstantAction is a separate technology that the plugin tech for Torque 3D.
