Yes you'll need source access to use the kit. If you plan to make an MMO you'll need to go with Pro whether you use the kit or not. This is due to the features on the back end that MMOs require.

It is very much still a WIP though and the fact we are using a heavily modified version of the kit and trying to translate it back to the base kit does slow down things a bit as I cannot simply dump off changes.

Offering up a binary version with no source code for binary owners and a full on sourced version for those with a full license.
