While usable, Torque 3d on the Mac does not have a lot of the higher end features of Torque 3d on Windows. This is especially true for Advanced Lighting. Us Mac users are pretty much stuck with Basic Lighting and the possibility of getting Advanced Lighting seems pretty bleak according to comments made by the developers.

Earlier releases (i.e. TGE, TGB, and TGEA) did not support joystick input on the Mac - I don't know if that's been fixed in T3D or not.

Also, according to an earlier thread, there's no PhysX support, and PostFX support is limited.Earlier releases (i.e. TGE, TGB, and TGEA) did not support joystick input on the Mac - I don't know if that's been fixed in T3D or not.

The binary version of Torque 3D locks-up (first app that's ever done that in a year!) on my MacBook with a 9400M (4GB memory). Big bummer!
Unity3D works extremely well on my MacBook. Very stable and fast.
Unreal (UDK UT3) also has a lot of trouble, it will work there for a bit and then the app crashes when using their AI tool. Also sad.
Just sharing my personal experience with the fellow MacBook folks.
BTW, I develop on a PC when doing Torque Script because Torsion is so great on that platform.
I also ran Parallel's running Windows and well while it didn't lock-up (this was much better) it (Torque 3D) ran at slower than 1 frame/sec (really slow) and had many false colors.

My Mini runs it quite well. But there is definitely a feature differentiation (though Bullet will shift away from the PhysX issues); and until Apple releases better drivers, the postFX side of things will still not be stable there.

Torque 3D is just as usable on Mac as it is on Windows, and is quite powerful on both systems. From the beginning, as with earlier versions of the Torque engine line, it was built with support for Windows and Mac.
