I would recommend Site Turn. Unlimited bandwidth and 500MB of space, and they have great features.

That unlimited bandwidth isn't quite so unlimited has some big restrictions.

Quote:
SiteTurn's customers are privileged to be offered unlimited website traffic. Unlimited traffic applies to standard web documents (JPEG, GIF and HTML). All other types of files such as (ZIP, MP3, MPEG, EXE, RA, RM, etc.) are subject to 10 GB of transfer per month. Sites containing paid advertisements, such as banner ads are allowed 20 GB of transfer per month. Any customer who exceeds this limit will be notified by SiteTurn to resolve the situation.

I personally use John Companies and have had alot of luck with them.

Personally I like Interland, that's some serious bandwidth for the money. And self managed is exactly what I wanted :)

Don't go anywhere near FeaturePrice. They just self-destructed, and although Atlantic.Net is picking up the pieces, the whole episode is a total disaster.

Try looking for YourHostSucks to see if the webhost you are considering is listed there. Many of the 'top webhosting' sites are either shills for the web hosts, or employees of the webhost have pumped up their site's rating.

@ Jouhn, Harold and Jermey
thanks for the help at the desperate times mate. I really really appreciate this. but I just need some more data transfer. Thanx guys.

@ Gareth
the 500 GB at interland is just what i need. Talk about the price and the customer service. I didn't do anything but looking at the page then a customer service person started a chat and ask if i need any help. thanks so much. I would seriously consider its plans.

I am one of the people who got slammed via the FeaturePrice fiasco. Atlantic.Net may be picking up the pieces but those pieces are going to cost an arm and two legs in the end. Hopefully I can ride out my contract with the same terms I had with FeaturePrice for the MySQL database. The paltry 15MB of MySQL space they generally provide is much too small for my current site needs.

I'm sorta partial to SpeedWorks.com, then again I own it :p
