Noob question...ActiveX and Torque3D for the web

Hi all,
I apologize for the noob-ness of this question but I need a quick-n-dirty answer to a simple question (my programmer has left for the day and a search of the forums turned up nada).
Do users need to install the ActiveX plugin in order to run a Torque3D game in IE or Firefox?
Thanks!
Ken

Specifically, IE does require the ActiveX plugin. There is a separate plugin for Firefox.
