Not sure if this is the right forums to post this in. I recently bought the PD Particles tool for T3d. After I purchased it, I found out that there is a better version on his homepage, PD Pro. I contacted him regarding this more advanced version and he thanked me for contacting him regarding it and asked that I post something in the forum here for you guys. Here is his email to me. You may contact him directly at admin@thebest3d.com and he will send you guys a 40% discount coupon for the upgrade. Thanks!

Sean

Hi Sean, yes indeed, and thanks so much for contacting me. I don't get to see the contact details of those who buy it through GarageGames/Torque's website so I can't offer the usual resource email with links and upgrades. Perhaps you can post something on their forum for the benefit of other fellow game developers. They're welcome to contact me for a similar coupon I'm about to send you.

See below for details.

Don't hesitate to ask me if you have further questions.

Sean,
Thanks for the update/advice.
Although I wouldn't consider PD Particles to be an "addon" to T3D, it is a neat program.
It is really just a painting program.
In your opinion ,is the Pro version worth the upgrade cost or have you decided to get it yet?

Your right, I said add on, but it is really a tool for T3D. In my opinion, yes it is definitely worth it. The additional brushes, animation capability and more make this almost a needed tool! With the holiday's I have not had a lot of time to dig into the additional features. After the holidays, I will have some fun with it.
