Convert the BSP(DIF) file back to a MAP file

Hello all, After a HD crash I've lost the original MAP file for my map. Does anyone know of a tool for converting DIF files back to MAP files.

I recall seeing a tool that could do this for Source-Engine maps; however, after much Googling I've not come across a tool for Torque DIF files.

That would be very useful. I have a bunch of DIF files lying around, for which I don't have the source anymore. Being able to convert them to Collada or DTS would be very helpful.

@Fiammybe
Isn't there an "export interiors to collada" option in the file menu of T3D Pro? Maybe try that, no idea if it works though.

Steve, thanks. I was looking for that in Constructor for some reason. I'll have a look and let you know whether it works as expected.

I've found the program for the Source-Engine mentioned.

www.fileplanet.com/119369/110000/fileinfo/MOHAA-.BSP-to-.MAP-Converter

I've used it before, it works quite well.

Tried changing the *.DIF to *.BSP then running it through the program. To no surprise, it did not work. :/

anyone find a solution here? Im trying to convert a bunch of DIFs to DTS for the T3D port (and the "export interiors to collada" option in the T3D demo doesn't work).

The "convert dif to collada" in T3D works well.

I try loading any of 50 DIFs that we have (in the macos demo) and it crashes every time. Any ideas? They are in the TGE mode, do I need to update them somehow to the TGEA dif format?
