Like-Minded Developers

I'm looking to find a few like-minded developers to form a small team to develop off the wall, not so ordinary games. I've been going about things all wrong, and it's time to get on track. I've been working with the TGE for over a year now and while I feel I've had a few completely original ideas (and a few not so original), I lack all the skills to complete a project by myself, at a quality that I want to put my name on. So I've come to a point where it's time to make a few decisions... Do I want to stay at my crappy web job for another 4 years, or do I want to get serious and get things going. Since you're reading this post, I've chosen the later.

I'm not searching for people to work on my project, I'm looking to form a small team of talent to work on a project that the team approves of. I'd like to focus on titles that are not your ordinary game. For example, one of the smaller ideas I had was a "Beer Bong Simulator". (ok, so it's not a family game). Basically you'd build a beer bong from different parts and you'd score on things like speed, foam factor, and how much you spilled. You get the idea... Not the next Halo, but entertaining none the less. I also have more all aged types of ideas to share, but this post isn't about my ideas, it's about finding other developers with similar ideas and the talent to execute them.

I have a decent overall understanding of how Torque works, as well as good concept of what it takes to manage and complete a project. I'm a decent scriptor, and ok in C++, but programming is where I lack the majority of my skills. I'm good at figuring out theory but usually end up with math or syntax problems causing something to break when I dive too deep into the engine code. My strongest points are in modeling, texturing and level design, and I've put a lot of my time in TGE towards the vehicles. I won't let my words speak for my work. You can take a look at my portfolio here. All of my gaming work is in the interactive section.

Currently I do full time web development so I will have no trouble getting the team set up with a site and all the tools we'd need to communicate with each other as well as showcase our work.

I know there are a lot of other developers that are in a similar situation... Trying to make a project work by yourself, when experience is what is needed the most. So why not combine our skills and make something to be proud of?

I'm going to leave it open and not say I'm looking for a "Lead Programmer" or other various titles. I'm looking for developers that excel in areas different then myself to collaborate on unique and entertaining titles.

All my contact information can be found on my site.
