#4 I hate that too. The non-opened pistachios just get thrown away in my house.

#5 My wife loves pistacio. Whenever I come back from HongKong trips (not been doing that lately though) ... I always bought a bunch of them.

Over time, I realized that closed pistacio tends to lower my mojo ... cause my wife always make me open them and she gets crossed when I take more than 15 seconds to do so.

So a few month before the SARS thing hit, I bought a very handy rubberized mallet just for the specific mojo increasing act of opening a closed pistacio.

I just lost control, you see, I frequently sneak into Jason Caughrans house and close the pistachios. Later, when he throws them away, I rifle through his trash can and collect what's now mine!

I was hoping to increase my volume by expanding my operations, but alas... I have been caught.

I can only ask for mercy, as I am a pistachio addict, and plead temporary insanity!

You do realize if you did that, they would then sell bags of closed pistacchios and increase the cost of the open variety under the delicacy clause.

now that I have a Job, I would not mind paying the extra pence for a bag of perfectly Cracked pistachio's.

#19 As this thread is super old, I'd like throw my 27 cents at it. WHERE THE HELL DO YOU GET OPENED PISTACHIOS???? I can't even imagine he perfection of not using to hands to eat them, the ability o type and eat, play FarCry and eat them.... Oh.... why can't I have them, WHHHHYYYY!!!!!????
