Pauses generating shaders for terrain in 1.1 alpha

I have noticed significant pauses of up to a second when shaders are generated for the terrain. Once all the shaders have been generated the pauses go away. Is there a way to pre-generate the shaders?

There are... we just haven't gotten to it. I'll make sure its addressed during the beta.
