Hey Everybody,
If you ever played Firearms, then you probably know who I am. Or if you've ever played Counter-Strike you might know of Firearms. My alias was Zerk and I was the team lead, lead programmer and designer of Firearms: Half-Life up to RC 2.5 which won PC Gamer MOD of the Year and Best MP game Runner-up for year 2000 and was published with the first commercial release of Counter-Strike and the Valve Platinum Pack.
More about Firearms
I've started a new iteration of my IP, Firearms, on the T3D engine as a new stand alone product.
If you would be interested in joining up with me to produce a predecessor to this award winning IP, then please contact me at the email below.
I'm seeking
- Co-Producer (Leadership experience, Torque experience) FILLED
- Artist (MAX experience, preferably legal; 2D art experience) FILLED
- Animator (MAX experience)
- Mapper (Torque Experience; Brush based experience; environmental intuition) FILLED
- Programmer (Torque Script; Torsion; C++ (VS2005)) FILLED
- Audio Engineer FILLED
- Web developer (Website) FILLED
Some experience is required in T3D and prefer that you own your own T3D license but not required. Knowledgeable players or fans of Firearms are encouraged to inquire. This is not a paid position during development. The only thing I have to offer right now is a chance to work on a proven game IP and as an experienced game developer and programmer, the opportunity to pick my brain as I will mentor you as well. In the event of publication or funding, compensation will be available.
Please let me know about your background, what you would be interested in doing, Show me a bit of your work, your experience level with T3D and anything else you want to share.
