How about the performace for T3D 1.0.1 version?

Seems that the final version of T3D 1.1 can not be released until the end of the first quarter of 2010, and T3D 1.1 Alpha is NOT so stable too, so we consider choosing T3D 1.0.1 for one new project.
We want to know if T3D 1.0.1 is stable enough for the new project? And how about it's performance compared with T3D 1.1? And when on earth can we get T3D 1.1 Beta and final release? Will there be much improvement about performance aspect?
Thanks a lot, we need to know the answer about these questions. Very appreciated.

Torque 3D is a moving target. Daily we have huge new features and changes as we improve the engine for 1.1 beta and 1.2.
So with that in mind if your looking for the most stable and non changing code... stick to 1.0.1.
If you want the latest and greatest you got to be prepared to deal with unexpected bugs and changes.
Torque 3D 1.1 beta should be out in a few weeks, but it may have more bugs than the alpha build... you just don't know.
As far as performance 1.1 alpha is already better performing in some respects than 1.0.1. I'll be focusing heavily on performance during the beta to make sure 1.1 final is as good as possible.
