Collada .dae vs. DTS .dts Export from Maya

Hello, I'm new to using Torque 3D and wanted to know if there are advantages or disadvantages to exporting a .dae (openCollada) vs. a .dts file format from Maya 2010?
Can anyone tell me if there's a .dts exporter plugin for Maya 2010 and could post where it's located?
Thanks.

Welcome! To name a few, Collada supports multiple UV sets and vertex coloring (currently for use with the Forest Editor wind effects).

The DTS exporters can be found in the T3D documentation here.

Thanks Russell for the help and the location of the exporters.
Are there any charts or documentation that has a side by side comparison of what features .dae and .dts support for static and dynamic geometry?
