How to stop Diagonal Movement

Hi All,
I am tring to make PACMAN style game demo. In this my Pacman moves diagonal sometimes on tiles and I dont want to do that. Is there any way I can stop diagonal movement for Pacman. For normal movement I am using moveToTile function with moveTo().
1-2 idea for diagonal movement is available in Community but It is only for those users who have Adventure Kit and I dont own Adventure kit. So Please help me.
Any idea will be helpful. Thanks.
