Forum Filters Request

I would like to request individual thread and forum filters. If that is not possible, I would like to request, at the very least the separation of the Dev Games forums from the Play Games forums.
I can understand that others may like this, but I do not care to read, or participate in the specific game-related threads. And these represent 1/4 to 1/3 of the new threads which appear.
Rick mentioned (about 5 months ago) in the thread linked above that this would be addressed in the new site update. Again, if it is possible to add filters or separate the sections, I would appreciate greatly.

I'd love to at least select whether I wanted to view the play or dev forums. I'm sure that the play forums will only grow in size, and soon overwhelm my ability to track them...

I don't have any problem with the play forums per se, but it can be annoying running into the play forums when you're not looking for them at the time.

When oh when will we have subscribable forums?!? i'm getting tired of those "my favourite movie" & "what's your favourite actor" posts... :|
