Torque3d is the only application that makes my video card runs at hyper speed

Well, the title says. I never heard any video card making this much noise before in any other engine, game or 3d program. As soon as I fire up torque3d, my video card starts to run at ultra-speed as if it's agony:P
Q9550 with gfx285, windowsxp3.
It doesn't matter on the scene, empty ground with sun makes the video card go crazy...just wondering why it might be?

it's your card cooling itself off. monitor you temps like Steve if you feel your going to have a meltdown. i also have a gts 250 evga. different cards have different stock fan settings, i had a BFG 250 had to return it, fan wasn't programmed properly, black screen when playing game for 5 mins or so. got the evga, same drivers, no problems, fan revs up sometime on GPU sensitive apps.
