I can not get a feel for how far one can develope for the iPhone in iT2D { iTGB, "Torque 2D for the iPhone", [fill in your current preferance] ;) } under windows.
As I don't have Apple hardware yet, can I use iT2D under windows and pretty much finish the project. Then get the hardware to test and build? Or is it more like Unity, I have to develope totaly with Apple?

Sven, do we have an windows executable that can run 480*320? in previous released the min resolution was 640*480 if I remember correctly.

T2Di's builder supports the two iPhone resolutions since at least 1.2.

Under windows, i needed itgb 1.3 beta to get 480*320 to work. For OSX 480*320 works in 1.2 and 1.3 beta.

That's strange, because there were reports of NO Windows work done on the beta (it had Mac focus), plus the chunk of code deciding available iPhone resolutions should be the same for all platforms.

Sounds good.

Although, if you dont design badly (or implement badly) you wont have any problems and can develop entirely on windows. We also wrote level editor tools on the windows side for artists. Its a definate win
