Import player models from Source/Steam/Half-Life 2

There's some Half-Life 2 mods that I want to port to Torque. Does anyone know how to import models intended for the Source engine?

Shaolin Dave, A model is a model. If you export that model into a .dae or a .dts format you can use it as a player model in Torque. That's all there is to it really.

So you open a .MDL and save it as a .DTS file? Sounds simple enough, but Blender can't open a .MDL file.
I'm not sure if Houdini will either, since I havn't shelled out the $99 for that yet.

you would need the source art, or use milkshape to convert, i believe milkshape has several game model importers, import then export and its done, milkshape is around $20 bucks if im not mistaken
