Snap to Grid and Snap to Soft

Hi guys,
I'm a senior at Columbia College Chicago and I'm working with a large team on creating a game for our capstone project. That being said, we're trying to figure out if there is a way to snap to grid in T3D. We've been able to do a bit with snap to soft, but a grid feature would work much better. If any of you have any ideas, solutions, or snarky remarks :) they are appreciated.
Thanks again,
Robert T. Banks

it's refreshing to find a engine developer implementing useful functions for artists. instead of just treating us like some whiny lepers who wont stop complaining about the tools.
the ortho bit just registered in my head....that's freakin excellent. that will allow us to build a world using more or less the same setup as the elder scrolls.

oh thank you. grid snap is a major boon. node/bone snapping would also be helpful but i'll take what i can get. it's refreshing to find a engine developer implementing useful functions for artists. instead of just treating us like some whiny lepers who wont stop complaining about the tools.

Does this mean we'll have multiple viewports running at the same in the editor or we can only have one and switch to orthographic views from perspective?
Seconding snap to grid and soft snapping by the way, cool!

But on a serious note, i think everybody wants the orthographics and grid snaps, looking forward to it.

At the moment, there aren't multiple viewports but you can very rapidly switch between the views using keyboard shortcuts (which I myself find preferable to multiple viewports most of the time).

Cool, that would be handy as well:) Should I expect it in 1.1 beta?

Indeed, this is very useful.
Grid snapping as well as orthographic views are implemented for the next release.
