Creating a Trial game that can be unlocked with a code

I am an amateur programmer and I'm just finishing up my first game using TBG. I was wondering to implement having a trial version that gets unlock with a code. I want to be able to offer a demo of my game and unlock it just like this game, but I'm not sure where to begin. Any help would be awesome.

What you're looking for is referred to as DRM (Digital Rights Management).
