Win 7 question

OK, so call me old or question my motives, but I need help. I still run an old RealmWars server for my friends and I to lan fight on. Have been doing it for years and really enjoy it. We make our own maps and everything. Here's the problem. I installed Win 7 and now it doesnt work. The server works, but the client just crashes. Any ideas would be very helpful.

Are you running the 64 bit OS? I didn't try older builds of TGE but when I tried to run some older game tech from '01/'02 on the 64 bit it didn't play nice at all. Other things to try would be to run it as the administrator or run it in XP mode(Professional only).

well, after messing wit it for a long bit, it seems that the error I am getting is that cannot load the main.cs file. I tried it on another machine with XP and it ran fine. SO I am thinking it may be an issue with something directly in 7. I am goingto mess with it more and see if it's something easy to find and fix.

Ensure that the path to your project does not include a space anywhere. That *could* be what is going on.

Yea, I already thought about that. Thats all fine. After rechecking it on an xp machine (where everything was working fine) and then my win 7 (to which it still failed), I think it has to be a silly stupid issue I havent been able to track down yet. Im going to look more into it throughout the week.
